Trade Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Create corrections to entries based on requests from clients and the team within Customs deadlines.

• Oversee corrections to secure necessary refunds from Customs.

• Handle and rectify regulatory errors on behalf of clients.

• Utilize trade applications and software to assess import and export data.

• Adapt to shifting priorities from clients, US Customs, regulatory authorities, and management.

• Investigate missing or incomplete forms or information with suppliers, carriers, and clients.

• Address and respond to client inquiries and requests.

• Engage with both internal and external stakeholders, including Livingston employees, clients, brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers.

• Assist in the development and enhancement of processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in one or more areas such as classification, brokerage import/export operations, restricted party screening, special trade programs, reconciliation, post-entry claims, and vendor performance management.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to identify issues and escalate them appropriately.

• Skill in setting and managing priorities to meet deadlines.

• Basic understanding of MS Office Suite, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

• Positive attitude and flexibility.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Required: High School diploma/GED or equivalent.

• Availability to work Monday to Friday during the day shift.

• Location eligibility: Michigan, Colorado, Florida, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Vermont.
