This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Promote, sell, and demonstrate the RIDGID and Greenlee tool and equipment lines.
• Provide insights and perspectives on customer businesses, aligning their priorities with the product differentiators of Emerson Professional Tools.
• Clearly communicate the Faster-Safer-Easier value proposition to end customers while collaboratively addressing business priorities.
• Advocate for the complete RIDGID/Greenlee product range to end users within the electrical, mechanical, utility, plumbing, and industrial sectors.
• Establish and nurture relationships with electricians, plumbers, linemen, foremen, superintendents, safety directors, work methods managers, purchasing agents, warehouse managers, project managers, and business owners.
• Conduct training sessions for apprentices and journeymen at both union and non-union training facilities.
• Develop and implement strategies to specify and standardize products among key end-user customers within designated territories.
• Utilize the 360 data capture application to report on demonstrations, trainings, and opportunities.
• Timely submission of presentations, expense reports, and additional plans is expected.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on leads from regional, national, and global construction and utility firms, placing tools at the local level.
• Initiate cold calls to prospective leads.
• Provide support across multiple territories and channels with PTS Leads, following up on pre-qualified leads.
• Communicate leads to the sales team and relay competitive threats and market trends.
• Understand the needs and challenges of end users, articulating effective solutions.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager for the South Region.
• At least 3 years of experience with tool applications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge in electrical, utility, or plumbing tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to distill large volumes of information into clear and concise summaries.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated success in achieving goals and sales targets.
• Excellent time and territory management skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50%, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license and adherence to company driving policies are required.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook is preferred.
• Experience with CRM applications is a plus.
• Preferred minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or other pipe trades.
• Experience with distribution channels, particularly in industrial, plumbing, and electrical sectors, is preferred.
• Previous sales experience is preferred.
