This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing point of contact for dealers, sales, and both internal and external customers through telephone and email communication.
• Address title-related issues and handle consumer title requests efficiently.
• Fulfill business requests while enforcing Credit Acceptance’s lien on vehicles in accordance with service standards.
• Monitor for any legal and risk-related concerns and escalate issues when dealer processes deviate from established expectations.
• Engage with customers, dealers, auctions, DMVs, and various agencies to gather necessary documents or information.
• Maintain accurate records of title and lien document locations and actions taken.
• Review and resolve title/lien tasks within stipulated service standards.
• Identify and rectify missing-title issues and discrepancies.
• Offer title expertise to internal customers.
• Conduct inbound and outbound calls with customers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and legal regulations.
• Meet attendance requirements and carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• Possess a high school diploma.
• Previous experience serving as a subject matter expert in a specific area.
• Prior experience acting as the main point of contact for customers to address issues and provide assistance.
• Demonstrated ability to make logical decisions and resolve complex process challenges using provided information.
• Previous experience delivering exceptional customer service support, including prompt and accurate responses to inquiries and issues.
• High-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 15 Mbps.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel applications.
• Availability for work schedules from Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM EST.
• Flexible 8-hour shift options.
• Willingness to undertake occasional planned travel to an office location if necessary.
• Required degrees must be obtained from accredited institutions recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
• Preferred: experience in the finance or automotive sector.
• Preferred: familiarity with vehicle titles.
• Preferred: previous experience in a call center environment.
• Preferred: associate degree in business or a related field.
