This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Evaluate data and information to uncover established relationships.
• Investigate and document the tactics of threat actors, including fraudulent law enforcement personas and agencies, compromised legitimate agent credentials, and the misuse of trusted access for fraudulent activities.
• Initiate communication with international government entities across different time zones through calls and emails.
• Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies and personnel globally.
• Promote cross-departmental collaboration and streamline processes.
• Respond quickly and effectively to user requirements.
• Keep abreast of industry and market developments.
• Improve law enforcement operations throughout the EMEA region while helping to protect the platform, clients, and end-users.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in threat intelligence, identity fraud investigation, or a similar analytical field.
• Proven expertise in pivot-based OSINT, encompassing passive DNS, ASN attribution, WHOIS/RDAP, certificate transparency, and email infrastructure analysis.
• Proficient in English.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capable of functioning across multiple time zones.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with various levels of management.
• Legal authorization to work in Ireland without requiring an employment permit or employer sponsorship.
• Willingness to work during core EMEA business hours, roughly 9am–6pm GMT, with occasional schedule modifications for global collaboration.
• Preferred experience with account takeovers, synthetic identity fraud, data theft/extortion, spearphishing, targeted intrusions, underground cybercrime ecosystems, and organizational impersonation.
• Nice-to-have knowledge in network and host-based security controls, Shodan, Censys, VirusTotal, APIs, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Preferred background in law enforcement, cyber investigations, financial crimes, digital forensics, or the legal process ecosystem.
• Experience in FinTech, cryptocurrency, or identity verification platforms is a plus.
• Fluency in Czech, French, and/or Arabic is an added advantage.
