Thought Leadership Portfolio Delivery Lead

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee the production process of the Thought Leadership department from inception to publication, encompassing research, content, and engagement.

β€’ Establish project documentation and develop as well as maintain schedules.

β€’ Facilitate project team meetings.

β€’ Ensure the portfolio meets its commitments.

β€’ Guarantee timely delivery of work that meets established standards.

β€’ Provide leadership with a precise overview of the status of each initiative.

β€’ Coordinate contributors across all Thought Leadership functions without direct management authority.

β€’ Identify risks early enough to allow for proactive measures.

β€’ Maintain a consistent operational rhythm throughout the portfolio.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A bachelor's degree is required (in business, project management, communications, or a related field).

β€’ A minimum of 7 years of experience in project or program management, handling multiple simultaneous initiatives.

β€’ Proven experience in managing content, editorial, research, or campaign production from inception to publication.

β€’ Demonstrated ability to ensure accountability for delivery among contributors that the role does not directly manage.

β€’ Experience in developing project charters, schedules, and risk and issue logs as standard practice.

β€’ Practical experience in administering project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet).

β€’ PMP, PgMP, and/or PfMP certification is preferred.

β€’ Experience in complex, matrixed, or global organizations is beneficial.

β€’ Familiarity with thought leadership, research, or content production environments is strongly preferred.

β€’ Strong project and program management discipline, applied consistently rather than selectively.

β€’ Capability to create schedules based on realistic effort assumptions and defend them under pressure.

β€’ Ability to hold contributors accountable for commitments without positional authority.

β€’ Proactive in escalating issues β€” identifying risks rather than absorbing them.

β€’ Strong facilitation skills, including managing working sessions to clarify decisions and actions.

β€’ Sound judgment on sequencing and trade-offs when initiatives compete for the same resources.

β€’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

β€’ Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the discipline to maintain accurate records over time.

β€’ Comfortable working at a fast pace across multiple concurrent initiatives.

β€’ Fluent in English (the business language of PMI).
