Therapist, LMSW – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver ethical, evidence-informed psychotherapy to individuals, and potentially to children, adolescents, and couples based on experience.

• Ensure timely and precise documentation, which includes progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.

• Discuss cases during weekly supervision, particularly focusing on clients with safety issues, disengaged clients, and those who frequently cancel or do not show up.

• Maintain professional communication with clients, colleagues, and supervisors.

• Schedule 15 to 16 appointments weekly, aiming for 12 billable sessions.

• Work towards achieving full-time clinical engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active LMSW license in New York State.

• Residency in New York State.

• A private workspace that is compliant with HIPAA standards.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Functional webcam and audio setup.

• Regular weekly availability to arrange 15 to 16 client appointments.

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Availability in the evenings at 4:00 PM or later is highly preferred.

• Experience working with clients across all age groups, including minors, is strongly preferred.

• Experience in couples counseling or a strong interest in couples work is strongly preferred.
