Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Assist individuals in their recovery from substance use disorders and/or co-occurring conditions.

• Act as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator to aid in relapse prevention and encourage long-term recovery.

• Work alongside the Clinical Director and Group Facilitator to address clients’ treatment-plan requirements.

• Conduct individual sessions for clients in need of these services.

• Deliver recovery education throughout various stages of the recovery journey.

• Aid recovering individuals in recognizing their interests, goals, strengths, and weaknesses related to recovery.

• Guide recovering individuals in creating plans to enhance their recovery progress.

• Assist in the transition from professional services to community-based services.

• Foster self-advocacy while prioritizing clients’ needs, goals, and objectives within rehabilitation and clinical services.

• Identify and support connections to community, educational, vocational, social, cultural, spiritual, mutual self-help, and professional resources.

• Motivate participation in community-based initiatives.

• Build relationships with local groups and organizations.

• Recognize obstacles to community-resource engagement and devise strategies to surmount them.

• Offer teletherapy services, including evaluation, assessment, consultation, treatment planning, case management, coaching, individual therapy, couple/family therapy, and group therapy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Addictions, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Licensed in the state of Arizona as LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LASAC, or LISAC.

• Must be at least 21 years old (licensing requirement).

• Capable of providing a Level 1 fingerprint clearance card.

• Familiarity with the drug and alcohol treatment system.

• Proven dedication to the recovery community.

• Comfortable working with both adolescent and adult populations.

• Ability to deliver services through video conferencing/teletherapy.

• Availability for full-time work with an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.
