Clinical Admissions Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Engage with clients during their admission process to establish rapport.

• Conduct virtual biopsychosocial evaluations for children, teens, young adults, and adults.

• Identify treatment needs and assess the suitability for the virtual intensive outpatient program level of care.

• Provide programming details to facilitate client access to care.

• Develop provisional mental health diagnoses in accordance with DSM-V criteria.

• Record client information in the electronic medical record, adhering to regulatory standards.

• Designate treatment team members and group schedules, while notifying staff of new admissions.

• Coordinate intake processes with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams.

• Collaborate with referral sources, including hospitals, treatment centers, psychiatrists, therapists, and other behavioral health professionals.

• Be available for morning, afternoon, evening, and possibly weekend shifts based on client requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

• Proficient in English, either as a native speaker or bilingual.

• Must have access to dependable technology resources to ensure uninterrupted, confidential, and compliant telehealth services.

• An independent license in a mental health field is mandatory.

• Experience with children, teens, young adults, and adults is preferred.

• Prior experience in conducting behavioral health assessments and admissions is preferred.

• Preference for independent license holders; associate-level clinicians may work towards full licensure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on detail and quality of care.

• Availability for required shifts: 11am–7pm MT or 12pm–8pm MT; weekend availability is encouraged.

• Completion of necessary state background checks for clearance to see clients is required.
