Test Lead, Manual, SQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee and synchronize all QA initiatives throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), encompassing requirement analysis, test planning, design, execution, and closure.

• Create and sustain comprehensive test plans and scripts concentrating on backend database validation and integration.

• Conduct advanced backend testing scenarios, which include data integrity checks, stored procedures, triggers, and database performance evaluations.

• Perform thorough SQL query testing across diverse platforms.

• Direct end-to-end QA for intricate web applications utilizing exploratory, functional, and regression testing methodologies.

• Collaborate with Development, Product, and Operations teams to identify, analyze, and rectify defects.

• Track and communicate quality metrics and project status to stakeholders.

• Establish and uphold QA best practices and organizational standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a specialization in backend and database validation.

• Proficiency in writing and executing intricate SQL queries (Oracle, MySQL, and/or SQL Server).

• Strong understanding of STLC principles and methodologies.

• Practical experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.

• Demonstrated ability to test backend components, including stored procedures and triggers.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Oral English.

• Advanced proficiency in Spanish.
