Test Engineer, Clearance Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that system requirements are fulfilled before release.

• Execute both manual and automated test cases, encompassing functional, regression, and release validation testing.

• Develop, sustain, and run automated testing scripts utilizing established testing frameworks.

• Assist with release validation by verifying defect resolutions and confirming readiness for production deployment.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects using Jira, collaborating with development teams until resolution.

• Create and manage test artifacts, such as test plans, test cases, execution results, and release approvals.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and work within CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing.

• Analyze test outcomes and deliver clear status updates to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance (interim acceptable).

• Over 5 years of experience in QA, UAT, and/or software testing positions.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to federal contract stipulations.

• Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed within the U.S.

• Hands-on experience with UAT support, test case execution, and regression testing.

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.

• Proficient in Jira or similar defect tracking systems.

• Understanding of CI/CD tools and pipelines in Agile settings.

• Strong experience in creating and maintaining test documentation and artifacts.
