This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of software quality responsibilities for a development team, encompassing test coverage, risk evaluation, and test execution.

• Create and implement testing strategies that align with product specifications, acceptance criteria, and sprint goals.

• Design, maintain, and refactor automated UI tests utilizing Playwright and API tests with RestAssured.NET.

• Integrate and uphold automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.

• Assess and analyze AI-generated test cases and automation results.

• Conduct code reviews for automated tests created by engineers and AI-assisted tools.

• Monitor the health of the testing pipeline, troubleshoot failures, and ensure automation stability and reliability.

• Collaborate with Software Engineering, Product, and QA teams to identify quality risks and enhance testing effectiveness.

• Enhance test coverage, automation frameworks, and quality engineering methodologies.

• Share testing insights, best practices, and continuous improvement opportunities during cross-team discussions.

• Balance test coverage, execution efficiency, and development velocity to facilitate the timely delivery of high-quality software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or a related technical field.

• Strong expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem.

• Practical experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, or comparable test automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with UI test automation and a solid understanding of automated testing methodologies.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience incorporating automated testing into software delivery processes.

• Capability to design and implement test strategies based on product requirements, acceptance criteria, and risk evaluations.

• Experience in reviewing, maintaining, and enhancing automated test code for reliability and maintainability.

• Ability to independently troubleshoot test failures, identify coverage gaps, and resolve automation challenges.

• Experience with AI-assisted development or testing workflows, or a willingness to gain proficiency within the first 90 days.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Capacity to work independently and collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with RestAssured.NET or similar API test automation frameworks is a plus.

• Experience in API testing and validation is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar application lifecycle management tools is preferred.

• Exposure to agentic QA platforms, AI-generated test cases, or AI-assisted test automation workflows is beneficial.

• Experience in evaluating and refining AI-generated tests is a plus.

• Familiarity with Human Capital Management (HCM), payroll, or regulated software environments is advantageous.
