This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Create, document, and implement test plans and test cases based on product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and sustain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, UAT, and usability testing on software, hardware, and/or systems.
• Identify, document, and monitor defects and issues, ensuring traceability of testing activities.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to guarantee comprehensive test coverage.
• Offer feedback and recommendations for product enhancements based on testing outcomes.
• Engage in SAFe PI Planning sessions and Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Generate detailed test reports, encompassing test results, defect analysis, and performance metrics.
• Track and report on testing progress and quality trends.
• Continuously refine testing processes and tools.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing tools.
• Ensure adherence to applicable privacy and security training requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison between business users, stakeholders, and the technical team.
• Conduct requirements gathering, monitor requirements throughout the project lifecycle, and analyze alignment with business needs.
• Create process models, diagrams, and other relevant project documents.
• Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, Camunda, Appian, Bizagi, ServiceNOW, Workday, Salesforce, AWS, and Azure.
• Convey complex information to both technical and non-technical professionals.
• Ensure that projects align with CMS policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements concerning program integrity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in software or system testing, encompassing both manual and automated testing.
• Capability to create and execute comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is an advantage.
• Strong comprehension of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Experience with SAFe, Agile, and/or Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
• Understanding of healthcare system requirements and compliance standards such as HIPAA.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• In-depth understanding of CMS policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, particularly those related to program integrity, fraud, waste, and abuse.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven capacity to independently devise innovative solutions.
