SDET – QA Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and consistently deliver testing tools and infrastructure necessary for executing tests at scale.

• Conduct testing for both front-end and back-end components.

• Create and enhance scalable automation frameworks.

• Convert manual test coverage into sustainable automated test suites.

• Incorporate tests into CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Selenium Grid, Docker, and other similar technologies.

• Develop test software and reporting solutions that facilitate continuous delivery.

• Collaborate with agile and DevOps teams.

• Validate integrations across databases, CRM/ERP systems, APIs, and third-party technology endpoints.

• Continuously investigate trends and technologies in automated testing.

• Enhance product quality, reliability, stability, scalability, and the performance of the engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test with practical knowledge in designing, constructing, and advancing scalable automation frameworks from inception.

• Demonstrated success in converting manual test coverage into maintainable, high-value automated test suites.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Angular, WebdriverIO, Jasmine/Mocha, Selenium, or PyTest, or similar technologies.

• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar programming languages.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments as an integrated Quality Engineer.

• Familiarity with iPaaS, SaaS, or other cloud-based platforms.

• Hands-on experience testing REST/SOAP APIs, working with JSON/XML payloads, and validating integrations with relational databases, CRM/ERP systems, and third-party platforms.

• Proficient with Postman, Jenkins, Docker, VirtualBox/Hyper-V, npm/yarn, JMeter, JIRA, GitHub, and related DevOps toolchains.

• Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance test generation, code quality, analysis, or productivity.

• Capable of comprehending vendor API documentation and independently navigating complex integration landscapes.

• Experience collaborating with distributed teams across various time zones.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, exhibiting clarity and confidence.

• Willingness to adjust working hours when necessary to support cross-time-zone collaboration and critical releases.
