Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop test plans, test cases, and scripts based on user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Create and manage automated test suites utilizing Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Postman that operate within CI/CD pipelines.

• Execute functional, integration, regression, and Section 508 testing.

• Provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Maintain the requirements traceability matrix.

• Record defects using VA tools.

• Present test results and coverage to assess release readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Mid-level: 5+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 3 years focused on automation.

• Journeyman level: 2+ years of experience in software testing.

• Proven experience in creating test plans, test cases, and scripts from user stories.

• Experience in defect management.

• Familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Postman in CI/CD environments.

• Experience in maintaining requirements traceability matrices using Jira Xray or VA Quality Manager.

• Ability to perform Section 508 testing and support UAT.

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Must be eligible to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.

• ISTQB Agile Tester and Section 508 Trusted Tester certifications are preferred.
