Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold the system testing strategy.

• Design and manage test scripts and related artifacts.

• Monitor the evolution of requests from inception and advocate for quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Validate outputs from development teams.

• Plan and conduct both functional and non-functional testing.

• Map and refresh the critical path of CAIXA applications.

• Assist in the acceptance of requests by the user manager.

• Foster continuous enhancement of the quality of CAIXA applications.

• Ensure traceability between test artifacts, requirements, source code, and other deliverables.

• Manage and generate test data sets.

• Set up, configure, maintain, and align development and testing environments.

• Maintain test data, scripts, artifacts, simulators, routines, and business processes of the systems.

• Plan tests and create documentation such as strategies, plans, test cases, and scripts.

• Develop and execute both automated and manual scripts, documenting and analyzing results.

• Conduct acceptance, compatibility, regression, integration, functional, exploratory, connectivity, vulnerability, stress, and load tests.

• Create mocks, stubs, and simulators.

• Assess non-functional performance requirements using appropriate tools and monitors.

• Monitor test coverage and advocate for its enhancement.

• Log defects and evaluate outcomes for each test cycle.

• Support managers and teams in the validation (homologation) of requests.

• Develop tests based on business scenarios, user experience, and defects.

• Aid the Product Owner in formulating acceptance criteria and approving sprint stories.

• Assist in crafting automated unit tests.

• Engage in ATDD, BDD, and/or Specification by Example practices.

• Maintain system cycles, daily and monthly routines, batch jobs, and interfaces in specified environments.

• Plan and execute security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and suggest enhancements.

• Evaluate security aspects highlighted by OWASP.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or other Information Technology fields.

• Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a specialization in Information Technology.

• At least one mandatory or equivalent certification: IBQTS ATC, ALATS CBTS, CTFL, BSTQB CTFL-AT, or ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level – Agile Tester.

• Proficiency in test management, defect tracking, test automation, test data generation, and virtualized interface tools.

• Familiarity with requirement notations in both agile and traditional models.

• Understanding of the operation of systems under test, common failures, and software testing methodologies.

• Capability to create automated and manual scripts using specialized tools, including variable test data (datapool).

• Ability to perform acceptance, compatibility, regression, integration, functional, non-functional, security, performance, stress, and load testing.

• Skills to build mocks, stubs, and simulators.

• Competence in assessing non-functional performance requirements using specific tools and monitors.

• Ability to evaluate vulnerabilities and prevalent security aspects as indicated by OWASP.

• Competence in planning and executing tests within the established scope and timelines.

• Experience in generating fundamental test documentation, such as plans, scripts, evidence, and test data sets.

• Knowledge of test management, bug tracking, automation, performance, and test planning tools, with hands-on experience in test execution.

• Experience in test management and planning.

• Ability to formulate tests based on business scenarios, user experience, and defects.

• Skills to assist in writing automated unit tests.

• Familiarity with or practical experience in ATDD, BDD, and/or Specification by Example.
