Senior QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Participate in the agile practice events of the team

• Contribute to defining acceptance criteria for user stories

• Design testing strategies and plans based on user stories in BDD format

• Design and execute functional and non-functional test cases, with a focus on interbank transfers

• Validate data and ensure traceability from requirement to test to evidence

• Manage defects and create documentation for test closure

• Identify and manage quality risks to prioritize testing

• Manage automated flows and implement automation in web and mobile front-end, back-end, and integration flows

• Design and execute unit, load, and regression tests on services

• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Define the security testing strategy and execute performance tests

• Manage OKRs and cross-functional quality metrics

• Lead QA teams and promote continuous improvement

• Monitor production and non-production environments of applications

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a senior level in enterprise solutions

• ISTQB Foundation Level and Agile Tester certification

• High-level testing of services (APIs and integrations) is mandatory

• High-level design and automation of unit and load tests is mandatory

• High-level experience in regression testing is mandatory

• High-level automation of integration flows is mandatory

• Advanced knowledge of the banking business, particularly in interbank transfer flows is mandatory

• QA for enterprise solutions with an end-to-end focus: strategy and test cases, defect management, data validation, and requirement to test to evidence traceability

• Experience with BDD, CI/CD, and pipeline management

• Performance and security testing; shift left / shift right approaches

• Experience leading QA teams and managing quality metrics and OKRs

• Proficiency in Jira (X-ray), Confluence, and Azure DevOps

• Knowledge of Git, Gradle, and Maven

• Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, DB2, and PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with Serenity BDD, ScreenPlay, Gherkin-Cucumber, Karate, Robot Framework, and Appium

• Experience with K6, JMeter, and OWASP ZAP
