This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Act as a field-based Territory Manager supporting Abbott’s MitraClip Structural Heart division.
• Ensure that the designated territory meets or surpasses sales targets.
• Collaborate with the Regional Director to identify and assess market opportunities and sales potential.
• Set and accomplish annual sales targets.
• Coordinate activities with clinical consultants effectively.
• Negotiate contracts with external clients.
• Schedule sales meetings with both current and prospective customers to achieve revenue and unit growth goals.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies for both existing and potential hospital accounts.
• Analyze sales data and reports, creating weekly, monthly, and quarterly action plans.
• Recognize key accounts, healthcare professionals, and clinical needs related to patient care.
• Observe procedures in hospital labs and operating rooms.
• Establish customer-specific pricing packages following company guidelines.
• Build relationships with hospital personnel and identify key purchasing decision makers.
• Provide sales support, including customer training, VIP trips, orientations, launches, and updates.
• Participate in trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars.
• Educate customers through presentations and product demonstrations.
• Maintain clinical and technical expertise through company-sponsored product training.
• Monitor managed care trends, competitor strategies, product developments, and market indicators.
• Prepare reports for sales management utilizing data, projections, and pertinent information.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience.
• Over 7 years of relevant cardiovascular work experience.
• More than 5 years of sales experience with Structural Heart or Heart Failure implantable devices.
• Verification that all vendor credentialing requirements, including potential COVID-19 vaccination, will be fulfilled.
• Strong orientation towards sales and clinical aspects.
• Experience with products used in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery.
• Familiarity with echocardiology and other forms of indirect imaging.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Capability to perform continuous sitting and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to drive a personal or company vehicle.
