Territory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess the existing customer base and product requirements, provide tailored business solutions, and keep CRM records updated.

• Advise clients on market trends, innovations, and product details.

• Deliver hands-on training to customer personnel.

• Organize and execute tastings for Executive Chefs, Pastry Chefs, and Food and Beverage Directors.

• Conduct comprehensive cost/quality benefit analyses.

• Collect competitive market insights and formulate sales strategies to enhance territory market share.

• Analyze market trends via social media engagement and collaborate on official AUI Fine Foods social media content.

• Generate new business through cold calls, lead databases, and local pastry/restaurant associations and clubs.

• Work in conjunction with Customer Service, Inside Sales, Purchasing, Shipping, and Finance teams.

• Travel to client locations within the designated geographic area.

• Review overdue accounts and facilitate communications regarding customer payments.

• Provide item forecasts in CRM for larger clients or upon request.

⛳️ Requirements

• Direct experience and understanding of the food service, distribution, or hospitality sectors.

• General familiarity with pastry ingredients and techniques utilized in pastry arts.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Preferred: experience in outside sales.

• Preferred: bachelor's degree or culinary qualification.

• Preferred: capacity to lead marketing events, shows, demonstrations, and networking functions.

• Preferred: self-motivated individual driven by goals, capable of working independently on the road with limited supervision.
