
Temporary Project Coordinator, Peer Navigator Network

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the administration and coordination of all activities related to a Postsecondary Student Success Grant.
• Support peer mentoring, supplemental instruction, and activities associated with student employment grants.
• Gather pertinent information and data.
• Monitor and organize spending within the grant budget while managing reimbursements and procurements.
• Execute clerical and administrative tasks.
• Liaise with federal grant personnel and other stakeholders.
• Provide assistance to the Project Director and Co-Principal Investigators in grant-related tasks.
• Oversee the Academic Peer Navigator program, which includes randomizing course sections, communicating with instructors, managing schedules, developing curriculum guides, handling rosters, providing course-shell access, and conducting SOAR queries.
• Request and monitor vendor contracts and payments through Agiloft.
• Implement services as per contracts.
• Update the project SharePoint site and outreach materials accordingly.
• Administer satisfaction surveys for Peer Navigator programs.
• Reconcile expenses using Workday.
• Coordinate the Bi-Monthly Steering Committee for the Postsecondary Success Grant.
• Manage the PNN and OPN email inboxes and respond to inquiries.
• Document notes during stakeholder meetings.
• Organize events, which include travel arrangements, food orders, points of contact, and logistics.
• Oversee scheduling activities.
• Attend mandatory Peer Navigator Network meetings.
• Provide creative oversight and engage in curriculum development.
• Perform additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in administrative support, grant management, office management, executive support, or similar roles is required.
• Preferred experience in coordinating or managing federal grant programs, and working with student employees or mentoring initiatives.
• Proficiency in data entry and the completion of online reporting forms related to local, state, federal, or private grants.
• A working knowledge of office management systems within a higher education setting is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to communicate effectively across diverse groups.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in diverse teams within a fast-paced environment that has multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with Student Information Systems such as SOAR/PeopleSoft is preferred.
• Travel may be required as needed, not exceeding 15 days annually.
