This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Evaluate intake assessments, which encompass medical history, dietary practices, lab results, and additional relevant information.
• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.
• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it pertains to nutritional care when necessary.
• Utilize Allara’s nutritional training and educational resources while customizing care according to patient requirements.
• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior modification strategies throughout the care continuum.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.
• Ensure accurate and current patient records are maintained.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly in addition to administrative responsibilities.
• Complete charting, address patient inquiries, and respond to administrative tasks and messages promptly.
• Registered Dietitian with active certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• A minimum of 1 year of experience treating patients with complex women's health issues is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as an autonomous provider.
• Strong diagnostic judgment coupled with critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, focusing on empathy and clarity.
• Capability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in current clinical research.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
• Previous experience in telehealth is an advantage.
• Must hold an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state.
• Required to provide a current CDR registration number.
• Must submit two professional references, including a supervisor and a coworker from the last five years.
