Telehealth Physician, Weight Management & Metabolic Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate both synchronous and asynchronous virtual consultations.

• Perform virtual patient assessments.

• Evaluate intake forms, medical histories, lab results, and pertinent diagnostic information.

• Assess medical necessity and prescribe treatments as clinically indicated.

• Administer prescriptions in compliance with state and federal legislation.

• Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

• Offer continuous follow-up and clinical management.

• Accurately record all clinical interactions within the EMR system.

• Adhere to telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards.

• Collaborate with care coordination teams to enhance patient outcomes.

• Engage actively as a clinical member of LumiMeds' PC group.

• Make clinical decisions, including prescribing, based solely on the provider's judgment.

• Contribute to a rapidly growing telehealth organization committed to responsible and compliant expansion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidate must be based in the U.S.

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.

• Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

• Active licensure in over 30 U.S. states (mandatory).

• Eligible and compliant to provide telemedicine services in licensed states.

• Active DEA registration (multi-state preferred).

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based weight management and metabolic health.

• Previous experience in telehealth is preferred.

• Experience in treating obesity, metabolic syndrome, or GLP-1–based therapies is advantageous.

• Ability to navigate structured, compliance-oriented telehealth workflows.

• Proficient English communication skills at a professional level.

• Must be available to work during U.S. business hours.

• Resume should demonstrate relevant experience.
