Telehealth Physician Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual consultations with patients to evaluate their medical issues and offer appropriate treatment options.

• Work alongside chiropractors to create individualized treatment plans for patients.

• Prescribe medications and request diagnostic tests as necessary.

• Provide ongoing care and track patients' progress.

• Maintain thorough and current medical records.

• Stay updated on telehealth advancements and integrate them into practice.

• Communicate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals using telecommunication tools.

• Comply with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Physician Assistant license in New York State.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant.

• Preferred experience in telehealth or virtual healthcare settings.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

• Proficient in using telecommunication platforms and electronic medical record systems.

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Availability for part-time hours, with the possibility of increased hours in the future.
