Telehealth Nurse Practitioner – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Perform video and telephone consultations with both new and returning patients.

• Deliver clinical evaluations, educational resources, and treatment suggestions within professional scope.

• Prescribe medications and oversee treatment strategies in line with clinical guidelines.

• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as necessary.

• Refer complex cases to medical professionals or pharmacists when required.

• Work in partnership with physicians, pharmacists, allied health experts, and internal teams.

• Provide insights to enhance systems, protocols, and the overall patient experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Nursing degree.

• Current unrestricted Nurse Practitioner endorsement with AHPRA.

• Valid PBS prescriber number or eligibility to acquire one.

• Recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary healthcare settings.

• Ability to work independently in a telehealth or digital healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical judgment and a patient-centered approach to communication.

• Commitment to evidence-based and ethical care practices.
