This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Create conceptual, schematic, design development, and final construction cost estimates.
• Assess drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation to formulate budgets and bid proposals.
• Calculate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Develop and sustain cost databases, unit pricing, and historical cost data.
• Identify potential project risks and opportunities for cost savings.
• Work in collaboration with project managers, engineers, architects, owners, and construction teams during the preconstruction phase.
• Keep track of market conditions, labor trends, material pricing, and industry best practices.
• Engage in client meetings and project planning sessions.
• Assist in the planning and execution of complex data center and Network Infrastructure construction projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction estimating.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating or supporting Network Infrastructure projects.
• Background in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or large-scale construction projects.
• Capability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience in performing quantity takeoffs and creating detailed cost analyses.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple estimates and competing deadlines simultaneously.
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.
• A degree in Construction Management is strongly preferred.
• Experience with mission-critical facilities, data centers, hyperscale campuses, or high-tech construction projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with preconstruction services, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor management.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff, CostX, Planswift, or similar tools is preferred.
• Background working with general contractors, EPC firms, or owners' representatives is preferred.
