Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Advise on and implement fundamental water treatment applications and solutions.

• Relay program outcomes to ChemTreat Account Managers or senior Technicians.

• Deliver professional, high-quality customer service and technical assistance.

• Conduct basic water testing, take measurements, document results through reports, and share quantitative findings.

• Execute water analysis and troubleshooting to apply chemical solutions and assess treatment effects.

• Carry out required services as per contractual obligations.

• Calibrate pumps and perform repairs to restore chemical feed systems.

• Monitor product feed rates and modify treatment programs when discrepancies are identified.

• Input results into software and communicate findings through service reports.

• Support water-related system enhancement projects.

• Oversee product inventories.

• Maintain company equipment.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Degree/Technical Certification is preferred.

• Experience in a laboratory, plant, or operations is advantageous.

• Technical proficiency.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Team-oriented with leadership qualities.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness to learn new operating systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or equivalent applications.

• Basic understanding of mathematics and formulas.

• Travel may be required based on the size of the assigned territory.

• Flexibility to work long hours and varied schedules may be necessary.

• Capability to meet physical demands, including lifting/carrying over 50 pounds and maneuvering drums weighing between 250-800 pounds.

• Ability to work at elevated heights and climb stairs/ladders.

• Must be able to drive both short and long distances in accordance with DOT regulations.

• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle hazardous chemicals safely.
