This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Receive, assemble, install, adjust, fit, service, repair, and deliver Complex Rehab Equipment in accordance with National Seating & Mobility specifications.
• Access the latest manufacturer information and technological advancements for installations, repairs, and part replacements.
• Conduct advanced testing, diagnostics, and servicing of client-owned, rental, and loaner equipment.
• Clean and maintain NSM equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Set up, coordinate, and maintain specialty control systems throughout the region.
• Lead and support the training and onboarding process for Technicians at various levels.
• Advocate for Technical Service initiatives and communicate progress to leadership teams.
• Remotely diagnose systems and convey resolutions following Technical Services Policies and Procedures.
• Provide training on assembly, installation, modifications, moldings, repairs, and diagnostics across the NSM product range.
• Utilize NSM enterprise software for order entry, labor tracking, chair assembly, and home access installation.
• Execute advanced electronic setup, programming, and troubleshooting tasks.
• Deliver, transfer, and install NSM equipment while ensuring accurate documentation is completed.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by relaying customer feedback to the appropriate personnel.
• Educate customers and caregivers on equipment usage, maintenance, and safety.
• Keep the delivery vehicle, repair shop, and warehouse in a clean and safe condition.
• Complete the NSM Master Technician standard training curricula and Training & Leadership Program.
• Take responsibility for productivity and performance standards under the Training Protocol.
• High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• Four years of experience in CRT or related fields.
• Experience in the assembly and/or repair of mechanical or electronic devices.
• Must meet the Master Technician advancement criteria for the Technical Services Skills Assessment.
• Proficiency in basic computer-related skills, including mobile devices, internet, email, and enterprise software.
• Previous experience using hand and power tools and working with raw materials.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Skill in preparing, routing, and executing a delivery schedule.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time.
• Endorsed for advancement by Branch Leadership or Regional Area Director through the Technician Candidacy Program.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
