This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +12 more states.
• Provide technical training in classrooms on mobile video technologies for external clients and occasionally for internal staff.
• Conduct virtual instructor-led training sessions focused on mobile video technologies.
• Primarily deliver training at customer sites with occasional virtual sessions.
• Travel to Motorola Solutions facilities or client locations as required by business needs.
• Educate agency customers, end users, and staff on the operation and usage of complex software products and services.
• Utilize diverse classroom techniques for training, such as lectures, PowerPoint presentations, flip charts, and online projections.
• Develop detailed training and technical documentation along with course materials.
• Assess knowledge retention and the effectiveness of training programs.
• Gauge customer satisfaction through surveys and feedback from customers and representatives.
• Foster relationships with Public Safety and First Responder customers, as well as internal product and solution teams.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design end-user and technical training initiatives.
• Revise course content to align with product design and market developments.
• Showcase training effectiveness through program assessments and ongoing enhancements.
• Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally, up to 75% of the time.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical training, ideally centered on public safety communication systems, solutions, and applications.
• Proven capability to empower cross-functional teams to achieve or surpass business goals while fostering strong working relationships.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, project management, and time management abilities.
• Demonstrated success in driving significant improvements within a team and the business.
• Ability to perform effectively in situations of uncertainty, rapid transitions, and growth.
• Capacity to comprehend and convey End to End solutions to students across various job roles.
• At least 4 years of prior experience in Information Technology and/or training.
• A minimum of 1 year of Law Enforcement or Public Safety experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with Body Cameras and/or In-Car Cameras (Mobile Video).
• Must be able to secure background clearance as mandated by government clients.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is necessary.
• Employer work permit sponsorship is not an option for this role.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 75% of the time.
