This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Offer pre-sales technical assistance to Sales Managers, distributors, installers, EPCs, and key customers, encompassing product selection, system configuration, and technical solutions.
• Provide after-sales technical support and resolve issues related to installation, commissioning, communication, software, and products.
• Establish and nurture robust technical relationships with key customers through regular meetings, visits, and project assistance.
• Assist in new product launches, technical training sessions, webinars, workshops, and customer events in the Italian market.
• Gather and relay customer requirements, market insights, and recurring technical challenges to Product and R&D teams.
• Aid in local product testing and validation, including firmware, software, compatibility, and system integration assessments.
• Update and localize technical documentation, such as manuals, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Service, and R&D teams to ensure prompt resolution of customer and product-related issues.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, Automation, or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant experience in solar PV, inverter, battery energy storage, or renewable energy systems is strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of PV systems, inverters, batteries, electrical systems, and system commissioning processes.
• Prior experience in technical support, field service, application engineering, or pre-sales engineering is preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comfortable engaging directly with installers, distributors, EPCs, and professional customers.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage technical issues independently.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and occasionally within Europe.
• Proficiency in Italian and good command of English are required.
• Chinese language skills are a plus.
