This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
β’ Oversee system performance and engage in monitoring shifts to guarantee system availability and efficiency.
β’ Detect incidents, conduct initial troubleshooting, and escalate issues as per established protocols.
β’ Clearly document incidents, actions taken, and results achieved.
β’ Aid in the upkeep and enhancement of monitoring tools such as Grafana and GroundCover/DataDog along with their dashboards.
β’ Adhere to standardized runbooks and procedures for uniform event management.
β’ Collaborate closely with senior engineers to troubleshoot issues and enhance system reliability.
β’ Basic knowledge of Linux administration, encompassing file systems, permissions, processes, and fundamental networking concepts.
β’ Practical experience with Docker/Kubernetes, including managing containers/pods, handling basic images, logs, and troubleshooting.
β’ Fundamental understanding of Ansible language principles, including registers, memory layouts, and low-level operations.
β’ Proficiency with command-line tools, SSH, and common system utilities.
β’ Capability to follow procedures and accurately escalate issues.
β’ Willingness to work in a shift-based schedule.
β’ Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
