This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide support for existing software applications and enhance components within the Cotiviti product suite.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, offshore team members, business stakeholders, project management, and internal partners.
• Analyze and evaluate the potential for automated systems to address complex business challenges.
• Investigate and resolve software and process-related issues reported by internal or external clients.
• Implement software quality assurance principles throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Document application specifications, designs, features, and operations prior to production rollout.
• Keep documentation updated for applications and processes.
• Identify and implement innovative enhancements to processes and systems.
• Manage solution development and data requirements execution.
• Execute enhancements to solutions aimed at improving performance and availability.
• Ensure that project deliverables are completed punctually and within budget constraints.
• Communicate technical and operational challenges to engineering and business leaders.
• Follow technology standards during system development.
• Define and ensure the accuracy and completeness of system and technical requirements with business partners.
• Handle escalations, provide guidance on daily task execution and monitoring, and offer feedback, training, and mentorship to team members.
• Work under general supervision, developing procedures and approaches independently as necessary.
• Fulfill annual Performance Plan responsibilities and complete assigned special projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 4-5 years of pertinent industry experience.
• 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Linux environments.
• 4-5 years of experience with Java frameworks.
• Extensive technical knowledge with the ability to provide solutions to technical business challenges.
• Proven history of managing all facets of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• 4-5 years of experience implementing changes using automation tools like Jenkins and Octopus.
• 4-5 years of experience with IT automation tools such as Ansible and/or scripting languages including VBScript and PowerShell.
• 4-5 years of experience working with databases and/or data processing pipelines.
• Proficient in Agile and SCRUM development methodologies, with prior experience in CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Oracle SQL.
• Experience with Docker or OpenShift containers is preferred.
• Familiarity with JBoss is preferred.
• Experience with healthcare data is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
