This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist end users in transitioning to a new domain.
• Oversee the maintenance of the company's computer software and hardware.
• Address support requests and ensure accountability for incidents until they are resolved.
• Install, configure, and manage computer workstations and servers within a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Set up, configure, and maintain peripherals and network hardware.
• Document configurations along with operating standards and practices.
• Implement and monitor security protocols.
• Conduct data backup and recovery operations.
• Carry out hardware and software upgrades.
• Configure and troubleshoot corporate Exchange email services.
• Engage in small- to medium-complexity infrastructure and software projects.
• Update IT stakeholders on project progress.
• Identify potential project risks, escalate issues to management, and assist in mitigation efforts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Minimum of grade 12 education.
• Post-secondary IT diploma or degree is preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows 11.
• Experience with Active Directory user and group administration.
• Skills in troubleshooting computer hardware.
• Familiarity with email administration (Exchange, O365) is an asset.
• Experience with VPN software is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
• Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Competitive compensation ranging from $26 to $30 per hour.
