Technical Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Supervise activities at customer locations and the depot.

• Direct Company staff to ensure safe and compliant operations.

• Foster the success of the Company and the depot.

• Ensure the successful completion of assigned projects and tasks.

• Organize resources, manpower, and equipment requirements.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Update operations teams and clients on progress via email and face-to-face communication.

• Lead emergency response efforts in a dynamic environment.

• Oversee Environmental Protective Services operations, including surface preparation and grit blasting.

• Assist with remediation, construction, and groundworks, which includes quoting, planning, organizing plant and materials, liaising with stakeholders, handling excavations, and managing reinstatement.

• Manage Industrial Services tasks, including confined-space entry, tankering, BA, and rescue operations.

• Ensure that tasks are planned and executed safely, compliantly, on time, and up to standard.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold relevant license categories to operate and manage vehicles that the technical supervisor is qualified to control.

• Comprehensive understanding of RAMS documentation and the ability to work safely within its framework.

• Openness to pursuing additional training.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external clients.

• Familiarity with all facets of environmental services-related tasks.

• Prior experience in supervising or managing various projects and on-site teams.

• Capability to perform under pressure and deliver projects within specified timeframes.

• IOSH Managing or SSSTS certification is a plus.

• Knowledge of construction and civil engineering is preferred.

• Previous or current experience in plant operations is beneficial.

• Understanding or possession of ADR requirements and tankers is a plus.

• HGV 1 & 2 qualifications are advantageous.
