This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the Critical Review and Verification of Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), Product Carbon Footprints (PCF), and various Product Climate Verification programs.
• Evaluate Life Cycle Assessment data and accompanying documentation.
• Validate Environmental Product Declaration data.
• Create verification reports and verification statements.
• Complete audits and reports within established timelines and professional standards.
• Present verification findings and draft audit reports.
• Oversee the documentation, communication, and resolution of audit findings.
• Engage with internal personnel and external clients in a prompt and professional manner.
• Guide the audit process in collaboration with clients.
• Address client inquiries and concerns.
• Ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
• Build and sustain relationships with key clients.
• Effectively and succinctly communicate standard requirements to clients.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of program standards and protocols.
• Suggest and implement program modifications to ensure adherence to ISO quality standards and scheme requirements.
• Participate in both internal and external audit processes as required.
• Lead the development of quality templates.
• Assist in revising product literature and documentation, including manuals.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Over 4 years of professional experience in a similar field.
• Experience in auditing (Intermediate proficiency).
• Exceptional quantitative and critical thinking abilities for analyzing complex data sets (Advanced proficiency).
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational capabilities (Advanced proficiency).
• Proactive and capable of working independently; responsive and adaptable within a team setting (Advanced proficiency).
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access (Advanced proficiency).
• Master’s Degree in a relevant area and more than 2 years of professional experience in a related field (preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with data management systems (preferred).
• Life Cycle Assessment Certified Practitioner (LCACP) (preferred).
• Certified LCA Reviewer (CLAR) (preferred).
• Ability to maintain a working knowledge of program standards and protocols.
• Familiarity with ISO 14025, ISO 14044, ISO 14067, and ISO 21930 standards, as well as relevant LCA, EPD, PCF, PCR, carbon neutrality, and environmental claims schemes.
• Remote, home-office based position.
