
Technical Specialist II, Product Climate Verification

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the Critical Review and Verification of Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), Product Carbon Footprints (PCF), and other pertinent schemes.
• Analyze Life Cycle Assessment data along with relevant documentation.
• Validate Environmental Product Declaration data.
• Generate verification reports.
• Maintain effective communication with clients to ensure precise and transparent life cycle reporting.
• Complete audits and reports within established deadlines and professional standards.
• Present verification findings and compose audit reports.
• Oversee documentation, communication, and resolution of audit findings.
• Engage with internal staff and external clients.
• Contribute to the creation of verification reports and statements.
• Direct the audit process in collaboration with clients.
• Address client inquiries and concerns.
• Ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key clients.
• Clearly and concisely communicate standard requirements to clients.
• Keep up-to-date with current program standards and protocols.
• Suggest and implement program modifications to ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and scheme requirements.
• Participate in both internal and external audit processes as necessary.
• Lead the development of quality templates.
• Assist in revising product literature and documentation, including manuals.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
• Intermediate level proficiency in auditing.
• Advanced skills in quantitative and critical thinking for analyzing complex data sets.
• Excellent writing, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently; adaptable and responsive in a team setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in a relevant area and 2+ years of professional experience in a related field.
• Preferred: Advanced Excel skills and experience with data management systems.
• Preferred: Life Cycle Assessment Certified Practitioner (LCACP).
• Preferred: Certified LCA Reviewer (CLAR).
• Flexibility for remote work.
