Technical Solutions Engineer

📋 Description

• Take charge of and manage API and integration documentation.

• Revise inaccurate documentation and complete any missing information as the technology stack evolves.

• Create quickstarts, sample code, and reference architectures to facilitate developer integrations.

• Address and resolve technical inquiries from partners throughout sales discussions and implementation processes.

• Guide signed partners from the kickoff stage to go-live, which includes gathering requirements, provisioning post-KYB and KYC verification, sandbox testing, managing webhooks, and conducting go-live checks.

• Collaborate with the integration program manager to align partner timelines.

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of CaaS ramps, Sequence wallets, Trails, OMSX, banking rails, custodial and non-custodial flows, virtual accounts, deposit addresses, and webhooks.

• Develop demos and sample applications to support Business Development efforts.

• Relay API insights and challenges to the Product and Engineering teams.

• Streamline repetitive onboarding and provisioning tasks through automation.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance documentation and support processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical API skills, including log reading, debugging malfunctioning webhooks, understanding authentication, and proficiency in Postman, Bruno, and Datadog.

• Excellent technical writing capabilities.

• Ability to navigate through uncertainty and adapt to changing systems without a detailed plan.

• Familiarity with using AI tools in routine tasks.

• One of the following experiences: managing customer API integrations at a payments or fintech organization from inception to production; or overseeing documentation, SDKs, or developer support at an API-first company.

• Understanding of payment fundamentals such as fund flows, settlement, and reconciliation is advantageous.

• Nice to have: background in crypto or web3, particularly with stablecoins and wallets.

• Nice to have: sufficient coding experience to create a demo application.

• Nice to have: experience with a documentation platform like Mintlify.

• Nice to have: familiarity with KYB and KYC tools.
