This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Spearhead training programs, workshops, and onboarding related to design technology for engineering personnel and CAD production teams.
• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans, workflows, and protocols that are applicable across the practice and specific projects.
• Supervise multidisciplinary operations involving Autodesk Revit modeling, project coordinates, shared parameters, LOD 100–500, and COBie data standards.
• Create BIM scopes and technical labor estimates for proposals, contracts, and resource management.
• Assemble and sustain 3D federated models using Autodesk Navisworks.
• Conduct clash detection, facilitate coordination meetings, produce mitigation reports, and lead issue resolution efforts.
• Manage workflows and file exchange protocols within the Common Data Environment across local networks, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud, and virtual environments.
• Execute quality assurance and model health audits.
• Present visual sequencing and advanced presentations utilizing InfraWorks, Navisworks Timeliner, and Twinmotion.
• Convert engineering objectives into BIM deliverables.
• Oversee geospatial data transformations that involve LiDAR point clouds, DEMs, and field survey control.
• Integrate civil and vertical infrastructure data throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the primary BIM authority during client-facing milestones, kickoff meetings, coordination reviews, and project completions.
• Mentor junior designers and address complex technical modeling challenges.
• Contribute as a production designer to the AECOM Digital innovations team.
• BA/BS degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
• US citizenship is mandatory.
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• At least 12 years of experience with Revit on large-scale/complex multidisciplinary projects is preferred.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads, Civil 3D, BIM 360/ACC, Dynamo, ProjectWise, Microsoft Excel, Google Earth, Navisworks, InfraWorks, Vehicle Tracking, ReCap, ESRI GIS, Blue Marble Global Mapper, or another GIS application.
• Strong technical development within civil engineering and design.
• In-depth understanding of industry standards.
• Experience with OpenGround, GeoPak, and Plant 3D is advantageous.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
• Proven civil modeling skills on large-scale/complex multidisciplinary projects.
