Technical Sales Manager – Midlands/Central

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Promote the complete range of Polypipe Building Services products within the commercial sector

• Achieve anticipated conversion rates on designated projects by employing a cradle-to-grave strategy in partnership with the broader sales team

• Collaborate with key stakeholders on new initiatives and document progress and engagement on assigned opportunities

• Organize diary activities efficiently and proactively

• Oversee contractor terms and agreements, including regular assessments of levels and expenditures

• Offer first-line technical dialogue and information to selected clients

• Engage with clients and manage objections effectively

• Respond promptly to incoming inquiries and deliver outstanding customer service

• Complete weekly reports within the CRM system

• Identify opportunities for incremental growth

• Represent and advocate for the business at social and brand awareness events

• Provide on-site assistance and technical training

• Collaborate with operational departments to ensure project delivery and supply

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of the M&E marketplace

• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale commercial projects

• Ability to engage in technical discussions at all levels

• Experience in delivering presentations to groups

• Capacity to quickly become a technical expert in Polypipe Building Services (PBS) products and services

• Familiarity with the project stages and decision-making processes in commercial construction

• A valid driving license is essential

• Willingness or ability to travel as necessary

• Candidates with backgrounds in commercial, maintenance, plumbing, or installation may be considered for entry into sales
