Technical Proposal Writer – Geology, Geothermal Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop the scientific excellence component of a Horizon Europe geothermal research proposal.

• Establish research objectives and outline the methodology.

• Present a compelling argument for the project's uniqueness.

• Draft and integrate the comprehensive 45-page full proposal.

• Transform partners' scientific contributions into clear and persuasive proposal text.

• Create a cohesive narrative surrounding the research rationale, innovation, and methodology.

• Identify gaps and collaborate with experts to enhance the scientific narrative.

• Ensure alignment of the proposal with the call's scope and evaluation criteria.

• Incorporate feedback and uphold the consistency of the final document.

• Adhere to agreed milestones and respond promptly to consortium feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD in geology.

• Ability to critically evaluate and synthesize complex research.

• Proficient written English skills.

• Demonstrated example of clear and persuasive scientific writing.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Capacity to work independently while closely collaborating with a team.

• Availability for an intensive period of writing and revision until December 1, 2026.

• Experience in geothermal research, deep sedimentary or basement reservoirs, or related subsurface research is a plus.

• Previous experience in funding proposals is not mandatory.

• Formal postdoctoral experience is not necessary.
