Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Oversee service projects within the region from their inception through to delivery and completion.

• Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams.

• Set metrics to evaluate key project indicators.

• Assess, track, and review project financials, including costs, operational budgets, staffing needs, resources, and risks.

• Advocate for organizational project management discipline and the adoption of fundamental project management principles and methodologies.

• Lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting efforts with limited guidance.

• Manage project requirements, scope, and issues related to change management.

• Ensure compliance with legally binding obligations.

• Develop project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects utilizing integrated project management tools.

• Collaborate with management on project proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and timelines.

• Contribute to project estimation processes.

• Supervise subcontractors and report on project progress.

• Create project control and reporting procedures and oversee changes to operational plans.

• Engage in status review meetings with project team members and clients.

• Guarantee the timely submission of weekly timesheets and timecards.

• Implement PMI/PMP-based methodologies, along with Red Hat services, systems and software development, and product development methodologies.

• Train, mentor, and counsel project teams on procedures, processes, schedules, goals, and technical or operational challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a project management capacity overseeing IT-related projects.

• Proven track record of successfully managing highly complex projects and multicultural or multidisciplinary teams.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies, middleware, and open-source solutions is advantageous.

• Experience in establishing and contributing to process enhancements.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal, leadership, analytical skills, and sound business judgment.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse management team and a broad range of internal partners independently.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

• A solid blend of business acumen and technical expertise.

• Capability to articulate the value proposition of project management.

• Proficient communication skills in English.

• PMI and PMP certifications or a Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) degree, or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.
