Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete planning and execution of technical programs and projects, managing aspects such as scope, timeline, resources, risks, and budget tracking.

• Oversee hardware and software installation initiatives, which include procurement, site readiness, scheduling for customers and vendors, as well as go-live cutovers.

• Coordinate tasks related to databases, such as defining requirements, executing deployments, conducting migrations, and implementing workflows.

• Structure projects to ensure that requirements and delivery timelines are effectively communicated across Product, Engineering, Solutions, Systems, Customer Operations, QA, Sales, and other business stakeholders.

• Develop and sustain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and dashboards.

• Lead stand-up meetings, steering committee updates, and retrospectives.

• Recognize risks and obstacles, facilitate resolutions, and escalate issues when timelines or project scopes are in jeopardy.

• Oversee a portfolio of simultaneous projects, prioritizing based on business impact and interdependencies.

• Continuously enhance program management processes, templates, and tools.

• Work collaboratively with Solutions Delivery, Systems, Customer Operations, Engineering, Testers, Product Management, and the wider organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Bachelor’s degree in management information science, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in program or project management.

• Practical experience managing projects that involve databases, data workflows, or data platform operations.

• Experience in coordinating hardware and/or software installation or deployment projects.

• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.

• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to manage multiple concurrent projects and balance competing priorities.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.

• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or an equivalent certification is considered a significant advantage.

• Experience in Adtech, Telecommunications, and/or Network Security environments is regarded as a significant advantage.

• Knowledge of distributed systems, data warehousing, or large-scale data infrastructure is a notable advantage.

• Understanding of SQL, database high availability/disaster recovery, and database security is a considerable advantage.

• Experience with direct involvement in technical deployments for enterprise customers is a valued qualification.

• Background in a startup or rapidly growing technical organization is a notable qualification.
