Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Plan, execute, and oversee multiple simultaneous medium-to-large scale projects.

• Coordinate project teams situated across various locations and disciplines.

• Collaborate with Sales, customers, and project teams to enhance project efficiency.

• Work alongside Sales and Technical Leads to comprehend project requirements.

• Take ownership of project decisions concerning scope, timeline, and budget.

• Keep customers and internal management informed on project progress through meetings and reports.

• Manage project processes and resources, including budgets and timelines, from design and development through execution.

• Identify process deficiencies and implement project-specific process enhancements.

• Handle technical negotiations with suppliers.

• Lead high-speed, complex electronic system projects encompassing FPGA/DSP, hardware, embedded software, verification, SI/PI, PCB layout, and mechanical/thermal design.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the technical industry, including at least three (3) years in Project Management.

• A university degree or equivalent qualification.

• A proven history of managing large projects utilizing project management methodologies.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Demonstrated success in delivering innovative solutions to project challenges.

• Experience with project management tracking software, such as Microsoft Project.

• Completion of or progress towards PMP certification is advantageous.

• An Engineering degree and prior technical engineering experience are beneficial.
