Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Convert antifraud and risk requirements into actionable product decisions and clear engineering assignments, collaborating with mobile, backend, security, antifraud, data science, and compliance teams.

• Manage a unified roadmap for protective features encompassing app protection, identity verification, authentication, and transaction control, guiding each initiative from discovery to implementation with engineering.

• Investigate emerging fraud techniques, attack methods, and security solutions.

• Evaluate how leading banks and digital platforms safeguard accounts and utilize insights to drive product modifications.

• Lead the roadmap for mobile security and antifraud, defining objectives, success metrics, scope, and release schedules.

• Direct authentication and authorization processes, which include passwords, OTP, biometrics, passkeys, Google and Apple login, and account recovery.

• Oversee identity verification procedures, incorporating selfie verification, face matching, and liveness detection.

• Manage device enrollment, trusted-device handling, and app protection, covering app integrity, root/jailbreak detection, and device attestation.

• Establish risk-based controls for sensitive actions and transactions, encompassing step-up authentication and real-time fraud alerts.

• Safeguard customers from account takeovers, unauthorized access, identity fraud, and account misuse while maintaining a balance between security, authentication conversion, and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in security, possessing a solid grasp of product management.

• Background in a regulated setting: banking, lending, or a comparable field.

• Capability to translate security and risk requirements into precise product specifications and engineering tasks.

• Experience in managing an initiative from start to finish: discovery, design, implementation, and performance assessment.

• Proficient in intermediate English.
