Technical Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical liaison for Datalot’s media and client partners.

• Oversee the technical onboarding process for new media and client partners from the initial setup to launch.

• Offer direct API and integration assistance, including XML payload validation, postback URL configuration, and troubleshooting data flows.

• Perform quality assurance and launch-readiness evaluations prior to going live.

• Address partner configuration, API, and data-formatting challenges as the primary technical support contact.

• Investigate integration issues by recognizing patterns, comparing payloads, and pinpointing root causes.

• Convert technical insights into actionable recommendations for partners.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations for in-depth investigations.

• Manage and update API guides, onboarding playbooks, integration specifications, and troubleshooting materials.

• Streamline setup procedures and develop repeatable workflows.

• Identify and pursue opportunities to automate or enhance operational workflows.

• Ensure documentation remains up-to-date and accurate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical proficiency at the crossroads of operations and engineering.

• Interest or experience in engineering, computer science, or solving technical problems.

• 1–3+ years of experience directly engaging with external technical partners or clients.

• Comfortable interpreting API documentation and working with XML/JSON.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong written communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into practical partner guidance.

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks.

• Familiarity with API testing tools is advantageous.

• Experience in performance marketing, lead generation, or affiliate marketing is a plus.
