Operations Technology Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Deliver first-line operational and client technology support to virtual agents and in-office personnel within the designated area, encompassing customer assistance.

• Adhere to established protocols and collaborate with teams on best practices to monitor and resolve technology support issues, ensuring proper tracking.

• Collaborate with both internal and external technology teams to conduct root-cause analyses, escalate matters, test, and resolve cases.

• Diagnose issues faced by virtual employees for prompt resolutions.

• Refer common issues to other departments for comprehensive global solutions.

• Convey procedures and common solutions to virtual employees using suitable communication methods.

• Oversee system status and enhance performance and reliability in accordance with policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive background in the travel industry.

• Familiarity with Sabre GDS and online booking tools (OBTs).

• Experience in supporting system enhancements, testing, implementations, and operational initiatives.

• Strong grasp of travel management operations, including front-, mid-, and back-office workflows, ticketing, fulfillment, and service delivery.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities, with the proficiency to identify root causes and drive effective resolutions.

• Outstanding organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a talent for working effectively across cross-functional teams.
