Operations Technology Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver first-level operations and technology support for both virtual agents and on-site staff within the designated area, including customer assistance.

• Adhere to established protocols and collaborate with teams on best practices to monitor and resolve technology support issues while ensuring proper tracking.

• Collaborate with both internal and external technology teams to conduct root-cause analyses, escalate issues, test solutions, and resolve cases effectively.

• Diagnose problems faced by virtual employees to facilitate swift resolutions.

• Refer common issues to other departments for comprehensive resolution.

• Convey procedures and common solutions to virtual employees through suitable communication channels.

• Oversee system status and enhance performance and reliability in accordance with established policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience within the travel industry.

• Proficiency with Sabre GDS and online booking tools (OBTs).

• Background in supporting system upgrades, testing, implementations, and operational initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of travel management operations, encompassing front-, mid-, and back-office workflows, ticketing, fulfillment, and service delivery.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, including skills in root-cause identification and resolution.

• Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

• Strong communication and collaboration capabilities across cross-functional teams.
