Technical Lead, Patient Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct the technical strategy for mobile development and applications aimed at patients.

• Quickly prototype and implement features in patient-focused mobile and web applications in collaboration with design and product teams, utilizing AI tools.

• Guide the product strategy to assist and retain patients during their essential first month.

• Engage directly with patients and collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams to translate needs into actionable features.

• Mentor and develop junior engineers.

• Establish technical standards, architectural patterns, and development practices for products aimed at patients.

• Enhance patient engagement, personalization, care habits, retention, and access to healthcare.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in developing and launching consumer or patient-focused products, whether on mobile, web, or both.

• Proven experience as a technical leader within a team, guiding architectural decisions and mentoring fellow engineers.

• Strong, yet flexible, opinions on creating exceptional user experiences.

• Proficient in working across the entire technology stack and thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Up-to-date with trends in LLM coding agents.

• Enjoy working closely with product and design teams, rather than simply executing specifications.

• Preferred experience with React Native or other cross-platform mobile frameworks.

• Preferred experience in developing products within healthcare, wellness, or other high-trust consumer sectors.

• Preferred experience with engagement, retention, or onboarding processes.

• Prior experience in AI/ML or developing agent-based systems is preferred.
