This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.
β’ Create and sustain software integrated into ATMS products.
β’ Ensure documentation and work instructions align with ATS SEDβs stringent software engineering standards and processes.
β’ Engage in the agile process, which includes daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and story pointing.
β’ Collaborate with an integrated engineering team in a highly cooperative setting.
β’ Maintain regular communication with engineering team members, program management, and external stakeholders.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert and resolve complex system issues.
β’ Develop and support safety-critical air traffic management systems utilized for controlling and monitoring civil and military aviation traffic globally.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
β’ Proficient in developing, integrating, testing, and validating software components within a Unix/Linux environment.
β’ Familiarity with the complete software development lifecycle utilizing C/C++.
β’ U.S. citizenship is a mandatory requirement.
β’ Skilled in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
β’ Experience with Agile methodologies and GIT.
β’ Background in software testing or debugging of source code.
β’ Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
