Technical Lead – IFS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical design, development, and ongoing enhancement of the IFS Cloud platform

• Evaluate, authorize, and supervise technical designs, customizations, extensions, and code quality

• Set development standards, documentation procedures, and technical governance

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, consultants, and solution architects

• Administer and regulate user access across various systems, including authorization levels, segregation of duties, and security protocols

• Direct the development of IFS customizations, Aurena pages, projections, custom pages, reports, and document solutions

• Assist with system configuration, enhancements, upgrades, and the implementation of new functionalities

• Assess solutions and pinpoint opportunities for optimization, automation, and innovation

• Plan, design, and execute integrations between IFS Cloud and enterprise systems

• Specify integration requirements and technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders

• Design and implement application deployment and release strategies

• Supervise development, testing, build, and production environments

• Manage deployment pipelines, build processes, version control, and release governance

• Monitor platform performance, reliability, and stability while promoting continuous improvements

• Provide technical assistance during development, testing, and deployment phases

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to comprehend requirements, enhance processes, and deliver business value

• Work in conjunction with solution architects and liaise with external vendors

• Evaluate and ensure the quality of technical solution proposals

• Provide insights on technical capabilities, architectural decisions, and ERP roadmap initiatives

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline

• At least 10+ years of experience with IFS Applications and/or IFS Cloud

• In-depth knowledge of enterprise application architecture, integrations, and ERP ecosystems

• Experience in leading technical teams and guiding developers through complex projects

• Proficiency in IFS customizations, extensions, reporting, and deployment methodologies

• Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle, DevOps principles, and release management

• Excellent understanding of business processes coupled with robust technical skills

• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to convert business requirements into technical solutions

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with both business and technical audiences and foster stakeholder relationships

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
