Technical Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Conduct captivating Databricks training sessions covering Data Engineering, BI, Machine Learning, and GenAI, primarily in a virtual format and in English.

• Ensure seamless training operations by coordinating schedules, preparing educational materials, managing Slack channels for training, and addressing last-minute requests.

• Facilitate learners' understanding of intricate technical subjects in a structured, clear, and approachable manner.

• Tailor teaching methodologies to meet the diverse needs of each group while maintaining learner engagement.

• Collaborate with instructors and Databricks to enhance the training program and uphold high delivery standards.

• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend and implement improved workflows.

• Expand RevoData’s virtual training capabilities while ensuring consistency and quality across offerings.

• Acquire knowledge and attain certification in Databricks prior to delivering initial training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical programming experience with Python and SQL.

• Comfortable with building, modifying, and troubleshooting code in real-time alongside learners.

• Strong passion for teaching and a genuine interest in pursuing a full-time instructional role.

• Excellent presentation skills with the capability to communicate technical concepts clearly to various audiences.

• Quick learner with an analytical mindset.

• Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm and supportive under pressure.

• Proactive and organized approach to work with confidence in managing processes, structures, and scheduling.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time, primarily within the EU.

• Experience in teaching, mentoring, or coaching is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Proficiency in an additional language is advantageous.

• Experience in Machine Learning or AI projects is a plus.

• Holding a PhD or having experience in research or academia is favorable.

• Prior experience with Databricks is an added advantage.
