This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Conduct dynamic Databricks training sessions in Data Engineering, BI, Machine Learning, and GenAI, primarily through virtual platforms and in English.
• Organize schedules, create training materials, manage Slack channels for training, and accommodate last-minute requests.
• Assist learners in navigating complex technical subjects in a structured, clear, and approachable manner.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of each group while keeping learners engaged.
• Collaborate with instructors and Databricks to enhance the training program and uphold high delivery standards.
• Optimize training organization by pinpointing inefficiencies and implementing improved processes.
• Contribute to the expansion of virtual training capabilities while ensuring consistency and quality.
• Aid organizations in adopting Databricks, scaling their data platforms, or enhancing their teams' skills in Data Engineering, BI, ML, and GenAI.
• Practical programming experience with Python and SQL; comfortable with building, modifying, and troubleshooting code alongside learners in real-time.
• Strong desire to teach and a genuine interest in pursuing a full-time instructional role.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Quick learner with an analytical mindset.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm and supportive.
• Organized and proactive approach to work, confidently taking ownership of processes, structure, and scheduling.
• Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of an additional language is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time, primarily within the EU.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, or coaching is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience with Machine Learning or AI projects is a plus.
• A PhD, or background in research or academia, is a plus.
• Familiarity with Databricks is a plus.
